Question Is your Caique a chewer?

Hi... I was just wondering if any one else out there has a caique that is big on chewing? I simply cannot get over how much of a chewer Fuji is... more than Helio (indian ringneck) or even Harley (U2).
Below are a couple of pictures of a toy that hung in Fuji's cage for 2-3 days... all of the cylinder shaped pieces of wood you see USED to be shaped like the larger green one in my hand...

How funny is that?!?!?!?!?

Well, I'm glad he's having fun!!

Yep, Bailey loves to chew...especially wood and leather! Good thing too cause it's good for that sharp beak of his!

Mine is a chewer also. I buy him one of those big ole ring of wood pieces and he almost always has them all chewed in half by the next morning. Mainly my fault as I hang it near where he sleeps, but usually it allows for me to sleep in .

You shouldn't throw away the broken pieces though, I recycle the "halves" and put them into his purple triangle thing that holds even more pieces of wood.

As long as he is chewing the wood and not me I am more than glad to purchase it for him lol.

Sometimes I buy organic apple wood (for rabbits etc) and he looooves those too.
