Caique help

how can i flight train my caique the tips of his feathers are cut when he was 6 weeks and now is 11 months and still arent better they havent grown back its a male what is wrong he tries to fly and i do daily excersizes with him how can i flight train him

Do you mean he had a wing trim that cut his primary flights? You have to wait till he goes through his first big molt- adult molt, and it should be coming soon- for him to regain his flights so that you can start properly training him for flight. Until then, doing flapping exercises is a great beginning. Also gently standing one or two feet away from the bed and tossing the bird- GENTLY- on the bed will stimulate him to use his wings and get used to the sensation of flight.
