That is so funny. Of course - the music puts it over the top.

I have one little girl who we call the "toe nazi". For some reason she doesn't care for certain people and will try to bite their feet. It is so funny to see my 40 yr old daughter running for her life - down the stairs - and a very small black headed caique swinging her little body down each step by biting into the carpet and lowering her body to the step below. She is on a real mission - it is hilarious. She never does it to me.

Gotta love Jack - he is ALL caique.

I would love to hear some of your stories about him. They can be so much fun but such a handful at the same time. I am so gald that you were able to give him a new home - sounds like you seem to totally understand them.

@ the toe nazi!! That is too funny!!! I'm glad there are other pit caiques out there! I will start another thread with the "story of Jack". It's a bit long, but maybe you or other caique owners here can share similar experiences with me because sometimes I definitely get frustrated with Mr. Jack-bird!!

That is funny that you refer to them as "pit caiques". When watching your video of "Jack Jaws" I saw another video of a caique and pitbull trying to play together with the dogs ball. You can imagine who thought it was his/her ball. I felt sorry for the poor dog.

Angelicarboreals : I just looked at your website and love the little story of each of your birds. It is so wonderful that you have been able to take in all those birds and give them homes and love them so much. Someday I would like to make a little page just like that - but don't know how to do those things. My daughter is a web master for a travel company, I guess I should ask her to help me. But not with the football season starting - both my girls are die-hard football fans and go to every home game and a few out of state ones too. We are in Minnesota and they are thrilled that we got Favre.

Wow, that was too funny. I love the bit when he's in the closet and right after he comes out. Looks EXACTLY like jaws! Like a shark hunting its prey! So funny. But poor hubby.

Scooter, thank you for your compliments. My life would not be the same without my little guys! I am as computer illiterate as they come, so trust me when I say it is really easy to make a website. Mine is through freewebs.com, and they walk you through everything. (The best part is that it is free!) I have dreamweaver on my computer, but I cannot figure out the program to save my life.

One day I plan on adding a caique or two, but it seems like when I think I am there that something happens. Until then I live vicariously through all the caique threads!
