Canaries are laying eggs

Hello to everyone
I bought a pair canariesand i was told they were a male and female, a week later both canaries star laying eggs.
The way i know is that the person who sold it to me said to separe them so they can get used to each other and wont fight got one day and a saw at the bottom of the cage and there was a egg on each side

Now my questions is what can i do? should i buy a male and can all three live in a cage i build is 6' long x 4' wide x 8' height i love watch them fly around and also their singing or do i have to buy to males at the same time

thank you

It would be easier to have two males than one (so that you don't have any extra females). If you build them the size of cage that you say, you might not be able to find them! That would be a little birds (or any bird for that matter, mainly petite to medium sized birds) dream come true! Nice big cage with lots of branches to sit on and fly to!

Well my thinking was that the bigger the better, i want to enjoy their singing but i do not want them to fell like in a jail, i want them to have a lot of space for them fly and kind of feel free. i already experience that with my cockatiels, they a 16' long 8' wide and 8' height for their outdoor aviary and i really enjoy them, their siging every morning. i really love birds and i have them to enjoy, im not a breeder.
