7 Week Old Baby Canaries: Very different personalities !!!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the different personalites of canaries.

Both my canaries are very strong and healthy. They enjoy vegetables, and bathing, and their swings and branches.

Their mom is in the large canary flight enclosure right now with just two other canaries (her babies). And one the chicks (Vanessa) born Feb. 25th still loves to snuggle up to her at night time. The younger chick Valentine (egg laid Feb.14 born Feb. 27th) sleeps with his head under his wing off on his own perch.

The dad of these two threw poor Valentine out of the nest when he was only 2 days old ! (then the dad was removed) But some people told me that might indicate that Valentine was a boy.

I know only the males sing, and of course the females lay eggs. But I am just curious if the personality of these babies might be showing already. Are girl baby canaries more into cuddling with their mom (even when they already grew bigger than their mom !!)

Canaries have different personalities, just like bigger birds. I only have two, but these guys are polar opposites. Bird just loves his toys, of ANY kind, and seems to enjoy the company of people - my fiance in particular. Otherbird is more of a loner and really doesn't play with anything much. He detests any swing I've tried and seems to only want to eat/drink/sing. The only things they have in common is that they both like to bathe and eat. That's about it.
