My two finches (male and females)

I'm quite new to Zebra finches,

And i have been wondering about them mating, well, my female finch is always looking out the nestbox and my male is always in the back ( i've checked and found no eggs or babys) and what i've heard is that the males is always the first one looking out (The male never did the nesting so i had too) Also they stay together all the time.

If you've got a true pair and they are not old...you would have to be most unlucky for them not to breed.Give 'em time.
Paul.

give me good diet food, millets, treats, fresh water daily, scramble eggs ((which mine loves)) and veggies. They only breed and mate when they are comfortable and eating good. Good luck ^_^
