Talking can anyone tell me for sure what type of canary this is?

Ok, I was told that he is a American singer canary, but I'm not sure. can anyone tell by the picture? He is yellow with brown raccoon eye patches and a browwn back with black or dark brown broken stripes or long spots. liltweek pictures from friends & fun photos on webshots

HI I remember your previous post is this the one that had the problem ? it looks better now . He is beautifull . I am sorry I dont really know anything about canaries as I have a quaker and finches . I am due to get a big bird next year it will be a cockatoo . I cannot wait . I am adopting him . but anyways good luck .

He's a beautiful little bird! I think the coloring is what is called varigated. I had a little canary with an olive patch across his eyes like a mask, and olive on one wing. Very beautiful little bird.
