Just adopted a set of finches

Hi I just adopted a set of finches and need to know what the rest of you finch owners do for nesting matierial ? i have one pair that looks like they want to breed and now I have the nesting box but need to know what matierial they need to use for nesting . thanks and have a great day . Never had finches before ,only really big parrots before .

What finches?....and where are you keeping them? Cage /Aviary ...Indoors /Outdoors...Nestboxes or wicker baskets?

zebra finches and I am keeping them in a cage and I have a wicker basket and needed to know what kind of matierial I need for nesting ?

Coconut fibre if available from your pet store...or if unavailable get some moss from a garden center.If you do I suggest you microwave it for 60 seconds to kill off any bacteria.
Just make sure you don't use any fibres like cotton that can tangle around chicks legs.Good luck.
