Question ok any canary people seen this before?

My new "handicapped" canary tweek is making a clicking sound with his beak. He doesn't do it all the time, but when he does you can see his little beak going a hundred mile an hour. It's like he's chewing invisible food or something. Is this normal? I kinda wonder if it doesn't have something to do with his head nodding thing he has going on........

I would wonder about air sack mites. When infested, canaries and finches make a clicking sound that can be heard from a few feet away. I would have him vet checked just to be sure.

My canaries do that, sometimes when they get scared they snatch food from their feaders & eat it on the high perch, to nibble on.
Your canary is new ?? Does his mouth open when u go near him??

Nope. He comes hopping toward me. He has collapsed after a few short flights with his eyes closed, feet clenched and panting. That kinda freaked me out......
