finches fighting please advise

i have two couples each with a nest and eggs in the same cage. one pair are really aggressive right now actually drawing blood. do i remove the less aggressive couple and nest? i only have a small cage, not another flight cage. what to do?

you need to seperate them ASAP!

i put them in the small cage (very small). they are a little freaked out. haven't gone in the nest yet. i covered them to calm them down. any more suggestions?

what are you going to do with the nest? Did you put them BOTH in the small cage together?

seperating them is for a reason. One in one cage the other in another cage! You can't put them together in the same cage if they are fighting!

It's one pair being separated from the other pair though, right?

okay if that is the case then I misunderstood. I thought it was the pair that is fighting with each other!

I took it to mean that pair A was fighting with pair B.

I could also be mistaken and the pairs could be fighting their mates, but I took it the other way...lol
