Abandoned Baby Finch. Can I Put it in a Wren's Nest?
Will the wren kill it? The wren is currently rearing young chicks. The mother hasn't come back for the finch--I think he got knocked out by a storm last night.

what type of finch?what are the ages of the chicks?do they have their eyes open yet?are there feathers similar to the adults yet..or somewhat like it?
it might kill it because the babies look different or it will favor its own over the finch baby.

what does the finch chick look like compared to the wren chicks?
what breed is the finch?wild or domestic? what breed is the wren? certain species may be compatible and others may not. when fostering you want to place the baby with chicks its own age.there is a greater chance of mom accepting it if they are the same age.watch sizes of the babies,if either is too big it could lead to death of either finch or wren babies.
