Wink Broken Toe

I purchased a standard yellow 18 week old canary 3 days ago from my local pet store where i purchased my other yellow canary a few months ago as i wanted him/her to have a little company, well anyways i have noticed my new little guys foot is totaly limp and i see it bent in positions it shouldn't be in as its one of the outter toes on its left leg and i see it somtimes bent under his foot touching his other outter toe or bent backwards touching his little back toe.
He doesn't seem to be any pain or discomfort as he isn't hobbling and he is gripping fine so im thinking he may have had this since the petshop? My main question is what should i do, i know goto a avain vet right but is there anything i can do at home before i drive for hours to my nearest avian vet?

There really isn't much you can do for him. If the break isn't too old, the vet may be able to set it and have it heal properly.
