More Cat Pics!

When Squirt is hungry he will go up to a person, put his paws on their legs (if they are sitting), then reach up with one paw and paw at the air... sometimes he'll even paw at your arm, meow at you, and get your attention. You can then pet him (or pick him up) and he'll just LOVE it! Then 30 seconds later, he wants to go cause he's saying "feed me, please!" Of course, he can have a tendency to occasionally use his claws, when he's being urgent about it! And he wants food NOW!

He's such a goof though cause he thinks he can fit in any size box!

When Sprite was hungry, she used to get on top of my dresser or one of my "night stands" and start knocking things off with her paws! She wanted food NOW and if it got your attention to get up off your lazy bum to go and feed her, all the more the better! Yeah... my little brat! I got tired of that and started squirting her with the water bottle when she did that and ignore her. She then learned that to be fed she had to ask NICELY! Being that her food dish is inside one of the drawers of my dresser (to keep Squirt from her food since they eat different diets) she asks nicely in two different ways. One, she'll sit/lay near the dresser and wait, which may or may not be accompanied by meowing and stretching... Two, she'll come up and put her paws on my legs and meow at me, then walk over to the dresser.

Sprite is like me however, she doesn't like to be cold! She has a thing for laying on the back of my monitor, on blankets, or burring underneath the blankets, and if I don't notice a lump, the bed will squeak at me!

Of course today my bed was completely messed up, and I have to remake it... but like the good cats they are, Squirt and Sprite took over the bed, quite happy just the way it is!

I still find it funny though that even though they are brother and sister, Squirt is my "mothers cat", and Sprite is "mine". This is mainly due to who sleeps with who at night, and who seeks who for the most interaction. Sure, either cat will visit either of us, but both have their own tendencies!

Regardless, I think this is a VERY fitting video, considering my two cats!

When Squirt starts holding grudges he holds them for a long while! My mother left on vacation and he got pissed at her and stopped going in and snuggling with her at night! Instead, he came to me and slept on top of the covers (with Sprite usually under the covers). Then I left on a trip of my own, and he was pissed at me! It didn't take Squirt too long to forgive my mother... but it's taken him 3 months to forgive me! I say that as he started snuggling with me again to sleep...

Yesterday I decided to take a nap as I hadn't gotten enough sleep... and he comes to me probably wanting food... I stick him under the covers (hoping he wouldn't force me to get up to feed him) and so he lays down and goes to sleep with me. A few hours later my sister visits and we are talking (I'm still laying down with Squirt) and then Sprite comes in and lays on my stomach/chest. So long as Sprite doesn't see Squirt sleeping with me she's fine.... and so she was, happily purring away... she wasn't looking, and Squirt decided to get up and so he was on the pillows when Sprite turned around and got startled! Then Squirt left to cool himself (like any man would... ), and then Sprite leaves, probably mad cause Squirt was with me the whole time! (although she came back later for lovin's! )

Squirt came in and visited with me again this morning.... and we were trying to sleep but then my mother came in and woke us both up! Squirt is currently now staring at Charlie's shadow, quite more enthralled by it than Charlie himself! I think he'd MUCH rather catch that shadow! Only, it keeps moving and then he wants to "hide"! Then when the shadow dissapears he patiently waits for it to reappear!

Am I well trained? Yes, you can say that!

Man Monica, just reading that one of your cats sleeps under the covers and one on top makes me miserable! Our female, Tula, we caller her the thermonater, can feel like about 80 lbs when she's laying up against you. You move and she moves with you, doesn't budge. She makes us so hot, we wake up in a sweat! She's a small cat too!
My husband usually doesn't have the heart to move her (er disturb her), but the other night she had him pinned and he decided to give her a dose of her own medicine and laid the extra blanket over her and "smoked" her out and off of the bed

Oh, great pictures. Here's my baby Sherbert. I've had him since just a wee kitten. It's funny because when I look back on his younger pictures, I looked so much younger as well. He's now 12 yrs old and still acts like a kitten.

LOL! Well, for the past week Sprite has been pissed off with me as I haven't been sharing the bed with her! She's come and laid with me twice, but otherwise has been ignoring me at night time! On the other hand, Squirt has been coming in my room again and laying on my bed and demanding that I feed him as well!

Silly cats!
