havent even noticed

We moved our cocky, Chester, out into the living space today. we have 2 cats and although we watched them carefully they dont seem to even have noticed that he is there!
He certainly noticed when trinity, our small tortoiseshell, walked past! he went completely still and made no noise. he stayed like this for at least 2 min after trinity had left the area.
What reaction do other ppls cats give their birds?

My birds showed the cats in no uncertain terms that they were boss! LOL If the cats showed interest in the birds, they would get a nip on the nose, although the birds didn't seem to mind them climbing in the bottom of their cage into the tray to snoop for snacks. Diddle got to the point where the cats would climb into his cage and he would sit on their back and preen them, always under supervision ofcourse. My cats never showed any "eating" interest in any of the birds, not even the keet, they were just curious as to what they were.

buahahaha those photos are HILLARIOUS

boogie yells at the cats and lets them know that no matter what - SHE is the boss
and they abide
100%

zaphod will act like he is going to jump on chickie baby when she's on the back of the couch and she does this whole show of toughness but its really a game
cuz after zaphod runs off she goes to the end of the couch and loooooooks around the back side to see if she can find him first
she never does, he always pops up on her and the cycle repeats its self

zaphod also likes to pester wasabi and wasabi likes to pester zaphod
sometimes wasabi climbs down the side of his cage and onto this tv tray thats next to it where most of their flung food falls he has to browse through it to see if there is anything he wants and zaphod will stand up on his hind legs with his front feet on the edge of the table
wasabi bites his toes, gently though
and they do this over and over again

i wouldnt let my other two cats this close to the birds, they routinely kill birds outside and i just dont trust them

zaphod is a big baby. he is the scared-est cat ive ever seen
*eyeroll*

She is soooo old and fat. She barely gets away. I have to constantly be on guard with Ellie out.

usually her crest is fully up and wings out, with beak open RUNNING. Pretty funny, but scary at the same time. As you all know cat scratches and their saliva are deadly to too's!!! But I never let it get that far!

lol haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaa aaaaaaaa

Thank you for those hillarious stories!! in a way, as nervous as i am, i cant wait to see my cats reaction to Chester. One of my cats, a big fluffy ginger, is a big sook so i am pretty sure Chester will rule over him. Our other cat is quite bossy though so i am worried about her

haaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaa toooooo cute
