My cat's barf! How is she still alive I wonder? 20 ish hairbands!

So sorry about the nasty title.....................

I came home 2 days in a row to cat barf EVERYWHERE! after walking around the house cleaning it all up I came across a pile of something. I litterally thought it was a dead mouse! (It was that big of a pile) so I didn't know what it was and I picked it up with a papertowel and wow like 20 hair bands and some packaging tape. (My one kitty pumpkin loves tape and apparantly hair bands!) so ya the crazy thing is I haven't used those kind in years and no longer have them in the house even. So my kitty must have ate them and they must have been sitting in her stomach for a couple years now! Unbelieveable! So crazy I hope it didn't damage her poor throat! She seems fine but just wanted to share with everyone. It was so CRAZY! See the pic they are all intertwined and nasty!

EW!!!

My cat eats bugs and feral lizards. I thought THAT was bad...

Glad to hear she is O.K. though!

I heard about someone else's cat recently who loves to eat hairbands and string and ribbon. They had to take the cat to the vets to get a long stretch of ribbon removed from its stomach. I'm so glad your cat is okay! That is impressive and quite scary that THAT MANY hairbands have been sitting in your poor kitties stomach.

Ummm, yuck. But there is no way they have been sitting in her stomach for years. She must have gotten into them somewhere. Stomach acids are very efficient at breaking things down.
