Himalayans are colorpoint Persians. Flat faced, compact bodies, short eared, etc... Ragdolls have lovely long muzzles, massive bodies, large ears. There are other differences, but those are the basics. Hope that helps.

We went to the Royal show last weekend. The Aussies would know what I mean but the basics are a huge country type show held annually for 10days where you have cows, horses, sheep, goats etc, woodchopping, displays, trade stalls, rides, show bags and the night end in w a huge firworks display.

The day we went was the ragdoll judging day. Hubby hadn't seen these guys in the fur so I got to show him what they look like. They had an 8 month old out for people to pat. Jeff's first comment was do they do much? Nup this is pretty much it. They're big. This is an 8 month old, one of the adults is over there. Holy **** they are a big cat.

I think I've sold him on them.

Here is a picture of my 2 ragdoll kittens, Charlie is 9 weeks today and Blue is 15 weeks. They have the same dad, different moms.....so they are brothers from different mothers...LOL!

They look like they're going to develop into blues? Absolutely gorgeous and don't they know it.

My kitten should be born by now or if he comes from the second litter is due any day now. I'm off for a visit at the end of September to make my choice. Will definitely take photos. I'm getting excited now.

At this stage I've decided on Boris for a name but that may change. Will probably go for a blue or a seal point.

Yep, Blue is a blue colorpoint and Charlie is a blue mitted. I personally love the blues, the pictures really do them no justice!
