wanted to introduce my new fids

Just wanted to introduce you all to my new fids.

Ace who is 14 years old. When i rescued him i was told that he didn't have his wings clipped and that he would bite. MUCH to my dismay when taking him from the box that he was in he TRIED to fly. He landed on the floor with a THUMP! I then looked at his wings wondering why he thumped like he did. WELL it's no wonder he wasn't clipped his wings are so Mangled.

Poppy who is 4 years old came from a women who couldn't provide the care for him so she wanted to place him with me. This was on of my most difficult rescues. When the Lady called me she was crying when i went and pictured up Poppy she cried once again. She wanted to follow me to my house and I didn't think this would be very easy on her seeing it was a hour trip one way.

Poppy is a true sweet heart. He gives kisses to me every morning and he even fell in love with TJ my 4 year old son. He Doesn't like spending much time in his cage he would rather be out and playing with his Stuart Little.

They are both gorgeous!!!! Some tiels who are neglected may clip or pluck out their wings... I have a whiteface female currently, that when she came here she was bleeding. I cannot touch her without her injuring herself so I leave her be... but she practically didn't have any tail feathers let alone feathers on one side of her wing, she destroyed them with cage and beak... Now though she's got a messy tail, and where still working on the wings!
