Update on finding cockatiel and a few more questions

Well I did decide to go with my friends, I think I posted that before. Anyway I'm waiting for it to hatch should be in 2-3 weeks now. It will stay with the parents for 3 weeks then I'll be taking over feeding :)

I bought a big cage for it, the one I used for my parrolet I felt was a bit to small for a cockatiel. I'm trying to figure out where I can put it. I've been reading that it's best if I put it in the room I will be in the most. For right now that would be my room. But with my little brother going off to college and me then having the whole upstairs to myself *i rent from my dad* I think the room I will be in most will probably change. Would it be a better idea to put it in my room or should I think ahead and go ahead and put it in the other room? Or would it be ok for me to just move it around as my habits change? I want to make my tiel's life as stressfree as possible :D
