I have A cockatiel named Emerson I got him from a breeder in July. My cousin also has a cockatiel named Kooky who will be two years in January, She is the reason that I got a cockatiel. I had so much fun with Kooky while I bird sat last Summer. I would love to see pics of some of your beloved cockatiels.

Wow!! he does look a little like my Emerson I hope that now that Emerson is molting his grey feathers on his face turn yellow.

Emerson actually looks more like my Tomi Girl! Andres, since Emerson is a pied, it's unlikely that he'll have a completely clear face like normal male tiels have... I've noticed that in pied tiels, although not always true, the visual face sexing tends to be the opposite! I don't have any new pictures of Tomi Girl (last name she was given was Tom cause previous "owners" thought she was a male-one look and I new female! Eggs for proof!) although I do know I need get some more!

Monica your cockatiels are so beautiful. Are they all hand-tame?

Casey is as she was handraised from the day she was born! Of course she prefers me to strangers! She loves scritches, visiting with the other birds, or at least stealing their food if she can get to it! Although her best bird buddy is my cherry head Noel. They oftentimes sleep huddled up together!

Tomi Girl is tame although has set "limits" on what can or can not be done.... she doesn't mind being handled (or rather tolerates it) but she's more human orientated than bird orientated... She lives with the tiel family and hates every single one of 'em!!! But of course she loves it when Kirby talks/sings to his sister!

Pistachio and Kiwi are very wild and for the most part, hands off. Kiwi is a mess, especially with her tail and flight feathers. I'm sure she's probably the one who plucked Pistachio nearly bald!

Kirby is sweet when away/out of cage, but at the same time he is a jeckyl and hyde character! Sweet one moment and full blown out attack the next! He enjoys talking, being talked to, getting scritches, being pissy!

Sunshine is sweet when away from cage too, but being the "little" girl that she is she gets pissed off easily! She hates it when her brother sings/talks to her, hates it when a human tries to do the same (although she enjoys it sometimes too).
