9 cockatiels need a home...

Anyone out there in PA that can help?? My husband posted this out to our local clubs last night.

~Andrea~

Is there anyone interested in some or all of the 6 remaining cockatiels???
Please help if you can! I can't bear the thought of Sam letting these guys fly away.
The only space I have left here is in my basement.

Rick

Subject: [ChesterCountyBirdClub] Re: 9 Cockatiels in need of a forever home

Hi everyone,
I went up to Wernersville last night for 2 cockatiels...and came home with 4!! They are adorable...healthy, happy...a bit skittish, but pretty friendly for all the recent changes they've been through.

Sam actually BEGGED me to take all 10 of them. There is just no way that I could. He needs to rehome them by this Saturday, or else, he said, he is going to have to "let them fly"....

It is so cold! These cuties cannot live outside, especially not in this cold.

I thought of bringing them to the Christmas luncheon as a door prize ;-)

Please, please...if you can find room for any or all of these last 6 cockatiels, please do. Call your friends, family, elementary school teachers...

Diane

OMG, I can't believe he would just toss them outdoors? Please report him to animal control or something.

Kitagal, I hope you get them! I live too far away to help.

That is good news, because you CAN be arrested and charged with animal cruelty for intentionally turning domestic birds into the wild, besides being just plain heartless turning helpless tiels out into the cold......

Me, too. I am going to visit my new grandaughter next week about 2 hrs from Philadelphia. I was having strange thoughts until I got to Rick's post, lol.

BTW, is Nadine from St. Pete, FL on this board? I may have heard about a bird that she might be interested in adopting. If you know her, please have her pm me. Thanks, Gini
