Unhappy Lost cockatiel

Hi guys,
today something terrible happened.
My Cinnamon whiteface cockatiel accidentally escaped in Chicago area Harlem Ave/ Forest Preserve/ Irving Park Rd.
I posted the pictures, filled the internet lost and found ads all around, took the flyers in petstores, gas station, church in our area...
What else should I do?
I'm going to call rescues and vets tomorrow.
I'm devastated and crying all day.
Please pray for Twinkie to return home .

Katie

hi katie, i am so sorry to hear that, my neighbor had her cockatiel escape. Thank god they were able to catch him. She had taped her female cockatiel sqawking and put her voice on a loud speaker and he came back. He wasn't a strong flyer, he landed on there porch and they were able to grab him. I will pray you get your baby back

I will pray for you and your baby. So sorry to hear that and I can only imagine what you must be going though.

I hope someone who cares finds Twinkie and will returns him to you safely.

Hi Katie,
I live just a few blocks from you. I live at Montrose and Narragansett. I'll keep an eye out for him. Hopefully he'll turn up soon.

To everybody

Thank you guys so much for your prayers.
Holly, I'm devastated. I cry all days long, runnung all over the place, posting flyers, contacting police, vets, stores, hospitals...
So far nothing...I just hope that he landed on somebody's head like he loves to.
He's very friendly...
I'm going out of my mind...

Katie
