How do I stop my tiel from laying anymore eggs?

I have a 1 yr. old male tiel ( Tango ) & a 2 yr. old female ( Layla ). She laid her 1st egg in early June and now she is up too about 10 eggs now. She has rejected 3 of them and just laid another one on Saturday 07/02. None of them have hatched and I'm worried she will just keep laying eggs. They are on a mostly pellet diet with a small amount of seed, fresh fruits & veg. They don't seem interested in the fresh stuff though & of course a cutter bone. Help, how do I help my tiel? I was also wondering if the females go crazy when they are about to lay another egg. she gets crazy. chasing the male around the cage & biting him. I've thought about putting him in his own cage untill this eggs thing is over with. Thank You any help in advance.

If you have a nest box in there, take it out that will help. I think they say to decrease daylight hours also. Make sure she has plenty of calcium. Crystal

Can you get us a picture of the cage setup, with eggs?

Indeed, removing the male may help. Also, decrease her daylight by making sure she gets 14 hours of sleep each night.

You say your male is only 1 year old. As far as I am aware, tiels dont usualy sexualy mature until they are about 2 years old, so it is extremely unlikely the eggs will hatch (though I guess not impossible). If she is incubating them you will have to wait and see, or if possible you can try candling them to see if they are fertile. I would also say that if she is laying more the first ones probably aren't fertile.
Do you know if they have been mating at all?
