Is this Pumpkin Bread safe for my Tiels? =D

Mom made a yummy looking pumpkin bread and I'm a bit unsure about the ingredients if they are safe and if they can have some bread..

Ingredients:
Eggs
Buttermilk
Canola Oil
Cinnamon
White Flour
White Sugar
Light Brown Sugar
Nutmeg
Allspice
Cloves
Pumpkin (from the cans you make for pumpkin pies)
Baking Soda
Backing Powder
Corn Starch
Salt

- Also, one loaf has pecans and raisins in it.

Is this safe for my Tiels to try out?

P.S It's delicious! Anyone want some? =D

I just made some myself!! I might let them try a crumb, but there is WAY too much sugar in it to be good for our birds.

Well, one bite is ok...but it is not something you can give more than that. There is too much sugar and oil isnt good for them either.

What I usually do is mix all the ingredients except for the oil and sugar and bake it as a separate muffin. Then you can even throw in some millet too, and whalla! you have a special bread that is bird safe.

I do the same thing when cooking something...take out a small container for bird safe (no dairy or sugar) ingredients and cook it separately then fridge the rest as left overs for later. That bread does sound yummy though :D
