Arrow I think my tiel is sick!

I bought a pair of tiels second-hand, and they have been with me for less than 2 weeks. The first thing I noted is that the male didnt move for the most part of the day and his eyes were half closed. First, I thought he was just lazy, but then I realized that it was the left eye that was half closed, and the right one completely closed. He doesnt open it unless he feels in danger, and you can see that it hurts him to open it. Today I saw that some kind of balck/very dark green spot was growing on his beak, like if it was rotten (I have no idea if this is possible, Im just trying to give you and idea). Im really worried and I want to know what can I do... Please help.

I have some photos, but I dont have much experience in forums. Can anyone tell me how to upload them? It asks me for the url, but how do I put them in that url?

you can upload pictures from your computer as attachments to your post

in regards to the babes... i would suggest a vet visit. it's hard (to almost impossible) to diagnose online, we're not vets. and if the bird's sick, proper care is the only thing that is successful

do you know a vet in your area with experience in exotic birds?

If you don't have an exotic/avian vet that you know of in your area, post the city/state where you live. It sounds like this bird really needs to see a vet. I would take them both.

Keep them calm and warm, do not give anything that is not perscribed by a vet.

Im afriad he's pretty bad. I took him to a vetm the forum was just an emergency source. He has diarrhea, and the green thing on his beak was actually poop. I was given a medicine to give him everyday starting tomorrow and I was told to give him gatorade every hour. He only got worse, though. In the morning, he could still fly and move arround. Right now he is lied on his side, eyes closed, and breathing really hardly. I tried giving him the medicine today as I was afraid he wouldnt make it until tomorrow. Then I gave him gatorade to swallow the medicine, but bubles started coming out, he wasnt swallowing. I was afraid he would drown, so I left him to rest. I really hopes he makes it through this, its so peinful to see him like this...

Call an emergency vet that is open 24 hours and get him in. He needs more than you can give him at home.
