Henry & Tinkerbell Progress Report.

Henry and Tinkerbell Love is in the Air.

They are getting more confident and relaxed each Day now.
And it is good to see them Necking. Sorry pix was two layers of glass in the way. I will get better photos soon and a vid of them. This has to be a very happy pair. When you think she is an ex-aviary girl and has more savvy than he does, him being a ex-caged pet.

They like this new sleeping possie! It's just a piece of Bottlebrush sticking up that they have taken to sleeping behind. (I used the flash to get this pix.

Well, how things can change in a just few days.

Tinkerbell: She is getting better, but I think she seems to be enjoying flying around, still buggers off, if I get to close. She is a power flyer. I filmed her fully banked over, going around the corner of the conservatory today. She spooks Henry into flight, but he sometimes lands back near me.
I can get her to come back to me and Henry, sometimes. She and Henry were down on the ground under the Gym eating dropped seed. I put some food up on the gym to make sure she is getting treats, while I work with Henry around on the other perch.

Henry: Oh! yes, he has come to eat millet from me holding the spray.
I can get face to face with him, like with-in inches, just keep those hands down. He also came down to the ground with me sitting less than 4ft away.
He also eat a few Harrison's Pellets. (I know I said I did not like the idea, that they go off).
I have put little treat trays on the gym and the other perch, so I can keep trying diff foods. And keep gaining their confidence.
Poor Henry he still has his flying "L" plates. He cannot fly for '----'. I now have some idea of why he crashes now and then. He cannot make quick turns, he takes about 3ft to do an about face. He cannot do that great a distance either. All his effort goes into staying in the air. Poor little bugger, must of been all that cage time, before he escaped. That's one think that Tink will be able to teach him.

I watched 2x Rainbow Lorrikeets feeding on Cherry Blossoms yesterday, I took a couple of pix but they were to far away.

No news about Tweety.
