mating

hi everyone...my question is...i have two male tiels grey...and is it normal for them to go through the mating ritual...i.e...one sits in the water bath...and the other stands on his back and they try to mate along with the sounds...but they are both males...is this normal?...thank you

Well I've seen videos of this happening on Youtube, so I wouldn't say that yours is a unique case ... I don't have males personally but since one of my females masterbates with perches, I assume that males also have a way to channel their sexual energy

I'd first have to question if both are males...

However, even females have been known to go through the mating ritual, complete with eggs!
