Talking while preening
Can anyone tell me why my female sometime talk while she is preening herself? My male doesn't talk while preening himself only my female does.

Akara - sorry if I wasn't able to provide a helpful answer. I have no idea why some birds do what they do, but that picture you painted was just so adorable! Maybe she does it for the same reason that humans sing while they shower (because it's fun and the acoustics are good?).
