Henry & Tinkerbell Progress Report.Week 8

Eight weeks and we are settling well.
Well Henry and me are. Tinkerbell is a lot better, but still has her moments.
It's been a freaky week, both birds have had the runny pooh. And I had been worried a friends Cockatoo may have something my Tiels picked up.
But all seems well, poohs good today. So I am putting it down to the Fruit & veg stick on top of the other vegs they are now getting. They still have the choice of Budgie seed. But they now have Cockatiel mix as well, Mineral block, Cuttlebone, at all times. I still have some Kaytees pellets, and the Harrisons pellets, which they are now eating.
Veges/greens so far are sweetcorn, carrot, then we have Silverbeet, Milk Thistle, Dandylion.
I have been trying to get them on to the Fruit & Veg stick, I hung it in the cage, I crumbled it up a placed in the food dish, on the treat trays, nuh.
Hung it on the gym, gone in two days, she pigged out on it, and I now think that is why she had the s----.
I am using Millet sprays as treats, to gain their confidence. I can hang it so Tinkerbell only gets some of it. And throw the odd one under the gym, she will go down to the floor, but very skittish, as yet.
How I changed their diet was, I have two little trays, one on the gym and one on the other perch. so I started putting millet on them, then tried other things. It was easy as they would only go near the cage when there is no other choice. This has changed now they are more comfortable, in fact they both came to the cage for food while I was cleaning up the pooh on the gym.
I have got Henry eating from me and I would say close to having contact with him. He has started to talk (mumble) quietly at the moment. And some new whistles. He so nearly kissed or bit me yesterday, we get that close.
He just loves to be talked to when real close, just those Horrible Nasty Hands have to be no where in the picture.
I have reworked the sleeping area on the gym and added a top perch, which all seem to meet their approval.
It has been interesting knowing they are a couple, that he still is playing up to me.
I am trying to make sure Tinkerbell is part of the threesome, not being left out.
So here are some new pix.

Great photos! From the look of that grand play gym, they are very lucky birds.
