I would spend this time doing your homework on tiels, since you have a few posts that worry me, please get a book about cockatiels, their behavior and what the proper methods of training are.
That's it. I can't believe it take them so long to wean.

Why is everyone in here so mean to me?

1. You are giving outdated and uneducated advice.
2. You are spamming in many of the threads.
3. You are generally unhelpful.

We are here to help, but only if you do your part and try to research. If you just post emotions, that is spamming, there is no content and it is a waste of time for those of us who do come to help. If you want advice, ask, but do your reading first so you have learned on your own before asking. Do your research about cockatiels before you bring yours home.

Never hit a bird, that post about spanking a bird probably got you on all the watch lists for being a troll.

We are also not here to coddle people who won't learn for themselves, while I am willing to help most people, if they continue to post the same questions, and don't try to read for themselves and learn, even I loose my patience.

Fantastic Lori. Even when I know it is a troll, I hope that someone else reading will learn something, hence why I'm compelled to post.

This same thing happened to me. I was told Friday, then hes not ready yet! This happened many times in a row! I would get all excited and get my little carrying cage all set up and then nope, not ready! Even though I was there everyday to hold him anyway! :)
