I am Taking My Handfed Baby Cockatiel Home This Saturday.

I really hope it turns out to be a male and whistles up a storm.

I have a female that whistles up a storm! Whatever your baby turns out to be, good luck!

Shadow is just pulling the chain of people on this board, so I wouldn't take the post too seriously. Just check out some of his/her previous posts. I think this is the same person who regularly shows up on this board under different names.

I can't understand what pleasure there could be in jerking people who love birds around. Perhaps he/she is just a bored kid who wants some attention, just like when a 'tiel screams when you leave the room. I guess some attention is better than none.

I'm assuming you can't take it home because it isn't fully weaned. It should be eating on it's own for at least 2 weeks before you bring it home, this is to prevent regressing and you needing to take it back to the breeder for feeding.

I would spend this time doing your homework on tiels, since you have a few posts that worry me, please get a book about cockatiels, their behavior and what the proper methods of training are.

Yeah, Milletman, I thought so. I shot Monica a PM giving her a heads up, cause she normally deals with it along with Lori and Jen, I think.
I don't understand it either x_x
