safe tree

I would like to know if persimmon trees are safe for cockatoos & B&G macaws.
I have searched and I can not find anywhere that persimmon trees are unsafe wood for parrots.

As far as I know, all fruit tree wood is safe as long as it hasn't been sprayed with fertilizers or pesticides. If you're not seeing that type of wood on a safe list, it doesn't mean it's not safe. But not seeing it on a toxic list doesn't mean it's safe either.

Have you tried contacting your local agricultural agency? I think each county has one, at least we do here in Florida. Here, they're called county extension offices, and it's the headquarters of 4H, soil testing, and so on. They probably have an extensive database on plants.
