She loves me, she loves me not???
First here is some background. I gave my husband a Lesser Sulfur as a 1 year wedding gift (She was in need of a home, she was abused and passed around a few times). He loved the bird and they bonded when he first saw her so I could not resist getting her.
Here is the thing, she's scared of woman but seems like she is interested in me. One day she even flew on my shoulder. My husband can put his hand to her when she's on her cage and she will step up. Me I get the snot bitten out of me. When he has her out, he'll put her on me and she's run up me, sits on my shoulder and gets playful. Sometimes I can can pet her even (She'll pick up her wing for you to scratch under it).
Is there anything I can do, to help her accept my hand? I want to know that I can offer her my hand and not have it bitten.
She's really my husbands bird, but I'd like to be able to handle and give her lots of love as well.
Any advice?
