All cockatoos can become one person birds, any bird really can. I would say more social ones are tbe bare eyed, umbrella, ducorps. I would say look at those 3, ducorps are hard to find. Umbrellas are loud and very destructive but amazing sweethearts. Bare eyeds can be hard to find, if u can get over the patch there good:D Depends on your lifestyle, time, age of family members can u stand mess and noise etc etc.,

Hehehe. . .every Too I've ever met was cuddly. . .to a fault!! once you start scritching, they won't let you stop. And if that's what you're going for, you've definitely got the right type of bird!

I have had my Too since she was 3 months old and she will be 11 years old in June! I also wanted a bird to cuddle, just remember that the bird may want to "Cuddle" When you don't want to, or can't and they are usually pretty loud about letting you know when they feel you should drop what your are doing and go "Cuddle" or play! Ofcourse as people have said, it is all in how you set boundries, BUT and thats a big BUT, if the cute fluffy Velcro bird that you wanted to cuddle so much in the beginning decides NOW is the time, well....lets just say, you have been warned! But they are so loveable! Talk about turning black clothes all white! Oh and they LOVE to cuddle under blankies with you too! I want to go home right now and go "Pet the bird" after thinking about this. I think all Cockatoos love to be petted, but the U2 and the M2 seem to be huge cuddle bugs! but they can be

Thanks I want a nice cuddly bird.
Don't mind the noise.. although some of my family members might..
They get used to it lol.
I can spend mostly all my time with the bird.
I want a velco bird ( also thinking of a grey I posted in grey section)

I'm leaning towards a grey more since they rn't as loud and i have found 2 breeders...
But I have always love the Salmon Crested, Umbrellas and Citron cockatoos.

Whats a bare eyed??? Corella's are sooo cute! Alot of people find them ugly but one you meet one their personality and friendlyness will most certainly turn you. Also Black cockatoos are great too....although I am guessing you are american so they might be a bit pricey over there...But most cockatoos and galahs are pretty cuddly..make sure you dont have allergies cos they are pretty dusty sort of birds. Also LOUD but if you can get over that they are great...plus they are only loud if you let them..give them a time to yell and scream but make sure you let them know about quiet time...our galah wasnt as noisy as people make out though.

Oh ok...LOL our hyacinths are 50k-120k over here lol. Do you get any other blacks like red tailed or glossy blacks? I thought the black too's cost a bit over there. My mum gets wild red tailed black cockatoos in her yard...i only get the sulphur cresteds and the galahs.

Just wondering, what is a bare eyed cockatoo?? Do they mean a type of corella? Most too's are cuddly.
