WHAT is THAT???

Could somebody please tell me what kind of too this is in the picture. Make me feel real stupid now but I have not ever seen one of these. Boy did I just screw up the English language, LOL.
Anyhow, If you look in the snapshots below the pic and scroll over it is the little brown Cockatoo looking thing between the African grey and the yellow crowned Amazon.
Chief's Bird Cabin in Orlando and Central Florida is a Bird Lover's Paradise

Thats what I figured but I wanted to know which kind for sure. You can def tell it is a too and its a baby but the color intrigued me. Aren't Gang Gangs really rare in captivity?

i'm not sure. i've never seen one or heard of someone who owns one, but i think i've seen them advertised on petlink (aussie site that has birds listed 4 sale) so i would guess they're pretty rare.

Gang Gangs and black cockatoos are for sale in Australia. You can get GGs for about $1200-$1250 average in some places. Black cockatoos' prices vary - glossies are about $7000-$8000, red-tail $2000-$2200, yellow-tail $2000-3000, short billed $1500-$2000 or long billed for $2000-$2200... o.o Though those were New South Wales prices for 2002.
(( link: Parrot Place Australia - Cost of Parrots - WARNING: scary lime background lol ))

That said, I've no idea if that's a young black cocky. Doesn't look like a GG to me though. .. =shrugs=

I'll find out. This is where I got Newton. I know these people very well. They have become good friends of mine... very very knowledgeable. They usually have close to 50 species of exotics in their shop. I still go in there to get Newt's food and take him for visits. They get some very different birds and I walk in saying. "What is that?" LOL
