Bare Eyed Cockatoo curiosity

A local bird store has several. I've seen them before and they seem playfull, mischievous and look to be pretty good talkers. But that's all I know. Does anyone here have one? Can you relate any expeirences. Good or bad.

Does anyone here remember the one in the documentary "Look Who's Talking?" Arguing with that old woman.....that was hillarious!

I don't own one, but the ones I've met seemed friendly enough and very intelligent. One problem may be that the ones I met also got overly excited very easily, and bite a little too hard when they are playing. That said, however, my experience has been with wild ones, and I have no idea how easy it may be to train them to be gentler.
They swarm all over the place here, and there's a park in Joondalup you can go to and hand-feed them and occasionally twenty eights. It's quite a treat.

I have 2 - they are different from night and day!

1 is 14 yo, he talks better then a 3 year old. Will hold a conversation with you & himself - He is a perch Potato, unless he is salvaging for almonds, he doesn't like strangers or new toys. He does get stimulated easy IMO & bites when he is frustrated.

The 1nd is 11 yo, and doesn't say a word. But he plays like a one year old, loves people, doesn't seem to get sexually stimulated easy *Knock on wood*, doesn't bite *knock on wood*, he wrestles like a pup, rolls over on his back, and is really a fun guy!

Is that the "little corella" or the "long billed corella"? Corella's often are given away for noise and agression...HOWEVER I am yet to meet an agressive one. Every one I have met have been so funny and cute and loving. Alot of the agression I have seen is mainly bluffing so i dont class that as agression. But they can be noisy. I actually find them cuter than the other too's cos of their personality.
