In the backyard with my Galah

This is how I spent a part of my day on Sat. Spring is starting to creep in and at the first hint of good weather I like to take my fids outside. Birds are so photogenic.

Great pictures, what a lovely girl, nothing but gorgeous. Is that an Apple tree, just looking at the pink bloom.

Thanks for the nice comments.

I'll get back to you all on what kind of tree that is. It's not fruit bearing. I bought it late last summer because of it's red leaves and shape. I thought it would add some color and variety. I knew there would be flowers in the spring but wasn't sure what they'd look like until I saw them. And, of course, I knew I had to photograph her next to it. The flowers are the same pink as the feathers on the top of her head.
