Bobbie Said his First Word!!

He loves to forage and play on the floor, tackling his stuffed squirrel, or dumping the toys out of his Fischer Price dump truck-flapping his wings with delight and pride. Whenever he is quiet though, like any child, I know he is getting into trouble . Usually, I find him on the plant stand, trying to prune plants (which are safe). I pick him up and tell him no, or naughty boy.

This morning, he was running full force towards the stand. He let out a squak, and said: "Good Boy" as clear as bell.



PS: he is also barking like a dog...it's more of a oof-oof though (instead of woof-woof)

Wow!!!!! That is so exciting! Talking Toos are the cutest. Has Bobbie been listening to Maxie's barking video? or do you have dogs? I know you're proud of him.

We have 2 weiner dogs...so Bobbie is more dog then bird. he plays with the dog toys, runs to fridge for a carrot (the dogs favorite treat), and runs down the hallway with out spread wings, wobbling as fast as his little legs will carry him when the dogs go out to potty. He is quite a little character! Last night, he said "oh-oh". I am so excited!!!

Theresa- I forgot all about the weiner dogs. I would love to see Bobbie running down the hall. Lukey tells the dogs to go potty, but doesn't get to go with them.

Ha-ha--you'll be sorry you asked! I will getting a video cam for Christmas. Look out then bird board! Ü I will have to post running with the dogs, and laying on his back playing with a tooth brush. "And 1 and 2....and lift and chew"

that's great! first words are always exciting!
It is really funny when your bird or parrot make a sound of another animal! Habob, my CAG, who talks... is crowing (same as my rooster) sometimes. He always make me laugh when he do it!

We would never be sorry for wanting to see pictures! I think I can speak for everyone. We LOVE pictures and videos! The pictures along with the stories make me feel like I actually know all these cute little and big fids. It's fun!
