I was able to get Frankie out of the cage recently and give hersome playtime. I got most of it recorded so I thought that I'd show you a little birdy having a "ball"....

So cute...2's are so playful its unreal. Ours always chase things around the floor, gotta watch sometimes or they go after your toes

I know what you mean. I think a few times in the video you can here me telling Frankie to leave my foot alone as she was trying to "play"/chomp my feet that were in the path of the ball.

Funny! Good bird though- ours would be pulling your cords and playing tug-o-war not ball catch and toss.

They are soooo cute! Mine wil play get the ball and she says "Get the ball, Get the ball, shake, shake, shake, and then tosses it to me with her beak! Or she will pick it up in her claw and twist it and she says "Exercise, Exercise"

If I get down on the floor with her. She'll walk up to me and toss the ball into my lap. She likes to play fetch. Everytime I've tried to film her playing fetch, she gets more interested in the camera in my hand (as I have to be down on the floor with her) and wants to chomp it.

It is cute tho to toss the ball a few feet and she'll go running after it with her body and wings all fluffed out then grab it and run back to me and toss it at me again. The only bad thing is that if I stop playing fetch then she does what you see at the end of the video... she wants to chomp/chew up the furniture.

I thought of wetting the fabric and putting cheyanne(sp) pepper on the corners of the couch (a trick I learned to get dogs to stop chewing on furniture, shoes, or anything you want them to learn not to chew on), but I'm unaware of the affects it'll have on the bird itself, so I don't think I'll do that.

For now, I just do my best to remove her before she does any real damage.

She'll be 4 in October... She's quite the character when she starts to play sometimes. I have to be careful tho as to not to over excite her. When she gets too excited she gets agressive.
