Thats awesome! 2's are so loving and such a fun bird once you earn their trust. Both of ours were sweethearts when we got them. They can be vocal to get what they want if you make any mistakes and give in they will make you pay.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR U2!!! They can be extremely sweet birds. My Maggie stoled my heart in a matter of ten minutes, and I plunked down 1400 for her without even thinking! I was walking through a local pet store (not the place to buy a bird usually) and here was this beautiful white Umbrella Cockatoo telling me, "I love you." She had a foot stuck through the bars reaching for me, and I touched it, then she grasped me and wouldn't let go! I got her out of her cage and held her while she talked to me and cuddled with me. Then I found out her story...she had belonged to an old man, and he had died. The family came in and immediately wanted the bird sold...they called this pet store, and the owner took her and paid the family for her (probably not very much.) Anyway, she had just arrived in the pet store a day or so before I met her...I already had my B&G Macaw, so I pretty much knew what caring for a big parrot meant...so I decided to pay whatever they were asking just to be able to walk out of there with her that day. I took her over to their big cages, and let her choose. The first one she showed interest in was her's...of course, she doesn't have cheap taste...not my Maggie May!!! :) Then they tell me at the counter that her name was Powder. I'm sorry...she (and I was told she is a she - later DNA confirmed) was just too beautiful for that name, so I started calling her Powder Maggie, and then eventually we dropped Powder completely. Now she knows her name, and she's been with us for almost three years. She has a home for life no matter what. They have a way of stealing your heart, don't they?
