Happy HD Daisy!!
Our lovely Goffin's Daisy, had her first birthday today.
Daisy's story-On October 12th 07, Wife and I took a trip to a local chain petstore. We walked back to the area they usually keep the larger birds, and what do we see?? A cage with 4 small children hitting and poking in a cage. We walk over to see a lovely goffin's cockatoo trying to hide from the torment of the young children. I politely asked the children if they would step away from my bird, got the clerk and purchased Daisy on the spot. Once the cage was opened, Daisy jumps off the perch onto my shirt and yells HELLO!!. She's captured our hearts ever since. Some pic's   Playstand I built her today for her birthday. She's still afraid of it, but she'll come around!

I'm not completely done with the playstand, this was my first attempt to build a pvc playstand.

Happy 1st Hatchday, Daisy!
 And you don't know how many times I've walked into pet stores and watched kids torment the animals. It makes me want to buy them all or find their parents to tell them what a lovely job they're doing teaching their children
