Chamomile tea.....?

Someone just recomended giving our sulphur crested cockatoo steeped Chamomile tea to help him to relax a little. He's been plucking on and off for about 4 months, since we first got him. Does this tea really help a bird to chill out a bit? He's out playing/handled ever evening and gets lots of attention, plenty of toys and a good diet. Any adive much appreciated...

Thanks,

Marcus
