technique to getting Toos aquainted
Hi Guys, new to the board, but bin searching the boards for a while. Long story short, I am getting my Utoo in about 2 to 3 weeks, she is 12 years old, but I have been asked to take in a sulfer crested too as well. I would do this for this lady if I knew I can safely have the 2 Toos get along together. My goal is to have them out and about together. They are both females. Is there a technique to introducing them safely?

there is never a guarentee that they will get along. You have to be prepared for the worse that they will not get along. Not many too's do. My Ellie (U2) was fostered with 5 blue and gold macaws and got alaong with them, So I didn't think there would be a problem when someone surendered Teal to me. I thought they would get along fine. This is far from the case. Ellie is constanlty trying to attack him (in a hurting and very damaging way). I have to constantly watch her, I can't take an eye off her for a second!
So Plan on them not getting along to start. Don't want to be negative, but it is better to go in expecting the worst and then the best is the ending.
