If it's not beak grinding then I'm not entirely sure! But it doesn't sound like something to worry about...

Just make sure you get this too to an avian vet for a full CBC and fecal, and onto a good diet with plenty of toys and lots of bathes!

It's normal. My 2 does this when she is excited or wants to be pet/scritched. If it's followed with a hiss and a raised crest, don't go any closer and let him/her relax. If it's a grinding click it's also a sign of content much like I asume your Zons do at night.

My TOO does the beak clicking when she is content or settling down for a nap for a long "sleep". Observe when she is doing it and if this is the case not to worry.
TOOs should never to be lumped into the behavior of other birds. They are unique and what your Zon may do you will probably not see your TOO do. They are highly intelligent and very perceptive.

beak clicking is a mating thing. It also can be a ways of showing affection. Beak grinding is a sign of utter content and happy! Then you have the little flaired beak feathers, which is another sign of them being very happy and relaxed!
