Chickie Baby's weird behavior
ive never seen anything like this
she has a fiber that she pulled out of this sisal rope near her cage and shes holding it in her little fist shes fiddling with it, with her teeth and theres a loogie in her mouth YouTube - WTF is she doing? LOL anyone ever seen their birds do this? is the grooming it? maybe she can be distracted like this enough so that she leaves her feathers alone! anyhow i thought yall would enjoy the video. forgive mccains speech in the background, i didnt realize it was SO loud at the time im gettin old, and deaf lulz.

That's so funny. My newest M2, Angeltoo, pulls pieces of rope from her toy and holds them in her fist, then puts them in her mouth and just chews and chews. Eventually she'll put 1 of her nails in her mouth too and it's like she's trying to buff her nail with the wad of rope. She will do it for 30 minutes at a time and I just sit, amazed and amused and watch her. And I thought I had to entertain her.
