Common cage?

Hello,

we have two Cockatoohens (2 and 3 years old) who are outside of the cage (Palace of Montana) is also very well understood. In the cage, they can not, however, be kept together, because then total frenzy and controversy reigns. Therefore, the separator grids in the cage.

Now we have a large aviary for both new to buy. But we are totally unsure whether this will go well.

When they crawl through the lattice, then there are often loud yelling because Amy Candy feathers (mostly new) plucks what it pleasurably suck. We have some concern that the plucking worse is when they really sit and think about why, perhaps a second Palace to buy. What your advises us?

Hello,

yet none of you stood before this decision?
How do you hold your cockatoo? Together or separately?

I think noone really knows how to reply to this is the problem.

It sounds like your hens are fighting for territory, which would be the inside of the cage. That's not good, so yes, seperate is best

Hi!

They argue only in the Palace, who is also not really big. If they are in space, play and fondle him. Of course, they argue even now and again, but not so extreme. I would like to know how you have your cockatoos used to each other so that they can be together in the cage. We want to buy a larger cage. Do you think it will run better, because the aviary is new, and they virtually never heard? Now any claims to their side.

You'll need a much, much bigger cage. And not all birds get along. They may just never share cage space. It would then be like putting you in a room with your worst enemy and telling you two you can't leave that room, except for an hour a day.

Hello,

we had transformed this week on vacation and the Palace, and removed the bars. Strangely, there was no stress between the two anymore, but everyone stayed on his side. So far it seems to work out quite well. The Palace is said to be no permanent solution! The two are to have a common large aviary and Outdoors aviaries, but only if they understand! Perhaps they have now found , at first, because it was really bad with those two.

Yes as was said. It may only last for awhile. You will need to keep them supervised. They can develop new territories in the new Aviary. Some Of my birds get along and some do not and will never. I only have One Cockatoo and she hates everybody but humans.
