Cali is crazy!
We are having such a great time with Cali. We have had her for 1 month now, it seems like she's been here forever. She is so full of personality, and loves to play. She is still hand feeding, but we are trying new foods with her daily. She loves taking baths, but does anyone know a good way to get pomegranite stains off of the white feathers?

Cali is a doll and you are going to have so much fun. On the Pom...stains will just have to wash off over time. Here is a link of how to open a pom and this method (having seeds come out in water) minimizes the staining from seeds.
How to Cut Open a Pomegranate They really are healthy foods. So you have a pink too for a while! They also color themselves with wet colored toys if they bathe their toys! Sadieladie |

She is absolutely gorgeous! As for pomegranites...um...learn to love pink. I have a Western Corella and she loves the pomegranits we grow in our garden and yes during pomegranite season we have a pinkish kind of cockatoo! It's the walls I worry about the most, my partner is pretty tolerant of parrot mess, destruction, noise, furniture all over the place...but coloured walls might be pushing our (Dusty and me) luck. Enjoy that darling girl. All the best.
