Never tries to fly?

I was thinking about it, and my moluccan has NEVER tried to fly. He flaps his wings and does his wakka wakka happy noise and upside down dance, but never tried to fly or even glide down from anything. He hates being on the floor and immediately runs to his cage or something he can climb up and perch on. I am definitely not complaining, I just want to make sure this is normal and/or ok?

First let me say that the worst place for a Too is on the floor. They very easily turn to foot biters and chasers. So be satisfied with that. It took my U2 about 2 months before he took off after rehoming him. And it was because he was startled due to a car outside the house backfiring. Now he will fly once in a blue moon. I am more then happy he stays put. I have a rehomed CAG that has been with me for 4 yrs. He is fully flighted. Never in all this time has he even flapped his wings or stretch them. I have no idea what his open wings look like. I don't even know if he knows he has wings! LOL!
