dusky breeding season?

I was told by a pet store that the conure breeding season is almost over, which was why they weren't going to have many new birds in. Is this true?

Breeding season in captivity is different than that outside because the temperatures are different. There is no set breeding season in captivity, though most people usually breed birds from January to the latest September. Normally though it's just Spring and Summer months that they breed birds but it all depends on location and temperature.
