Yes, your horror story would keep me from putting anything larger together. I think of Green Cheeks as different though, they do seem to get along well when they are in groups, and they are always in cages with others at the bird fairs, etc. Plus, I've been bit, scratched, chewed up, etc. and it's NOTHING compared with the bigger birds. It's kind of pesky :) but not all that dangerous. Tonight I held him down and clipped his little daggers for the first time. He was fine. Well, he tried to kill me, but we were both fine.

Plus, with other velcro birds, I don't care if my GC is in LOVE and not as velcro anymore.

Besides, how else am I ever going to have a little YS GCC??????

I want one with a return policy I guess, like THAT's gonna happen.

I already pm'd DaFrank to see if the feature is working. No response as of yet.

Rayne is my only 'real' velcro birdie... LOL. That's why I haven't gotten another GCC, though. I'd be afraid they'd get bonded... and there would go my baby! It's just me... I know that if they're bonded to you already and handled daily, they are supposed to not 'turn wild' again. *Sigh* I saw a turq. GCC that I REALLY loved the color of, but when the thought came of eventually trying to house it with Rayne, I couldn't even seriously think about it. However, you're bonded with yours, and it's supposed to be fine.. don't let my chicken attitude influence you!

Who is Rico bonded to? My Meyers is bonded to my husband, my Sun is my velcro bird, and my GC is still a velcro bird, but only when I can get him to stop stalking everyone else LOL.

So I have 2 velcros here, and he won't let my Sun near me if he can help it!

Rico is bonded to me and my wife. He usually is with her, though...because Rayne usually sticks with me. However, if I've been at work.... then he will go to me and refuse to go to her.

dmiller91, I have 2 GCC males caged together and they get along great. They play and preen each other, share a hidey hut....etc. I think it largely depends on personality. Oliver is very pushy and Reign is very laid back, so it works. Neither one likes my other green cheek, Asia and she is female so I find that odd which is why I think it really depends on personality.

Jag, I thought of you the other day because Asia and Cyrus are alot like Raine and Rico. Asia will go after Cyrus and he cries out if she chases him, he is such a big baby! I can't help but laugh, I honestly think sometimes that Cyrus dosen't realize he is a bird! If any of the other birds come at him he just screams out and retreats. The look on his face is priceless too, like he dosen't understand why they are chasing him. Its pretty funny!

The issue is mute folks, it happened two years ago......

No sense getting you emotions all up in a knot.

LOL We have so many new threads! I'm shocked that a two year old thread has been resurrected and has been kept going!
