Do you cover his cage at night? Pita has a sleep cage in my bedroom, and he goes in there when he's ready, and doesn't make a sound the rest of the night.

It's good for both of us....he gets a full 10 - 12 hours sleep in a quiet, dark space. It's a small cage, almost a travel cage. He has a bit of water & snacks, a hut, and a rope perch, and I cover it with a wool blanket in winter. That way I can go about my buisness and watch TV, etc etc without disburbing him. He loves it, when he's ready he knows just where he wants to be. And it's kind of comforting hearing him move at night. Last night around 3am he decided he wanted a snack, and woke me up eating a peanut....LOL

Anyway, didn't mean to go off there, so just a suggestion for you to think about.

PICTURES PICTURES

Here's Pita in the morning....he likes to wake up slowly, like his mommy. He'll lounge like this after I uncover him for an hour.

It's either medium or large....I dont remember. And I would suggest getting one closest to the color of your bird. Pita had a blue one at first, wouldn't go near it, so I got him a yellow one, and he loves it. He has one in his sleep cage & his big cage.
